Retreat’s First Ripple
Friends and Neighbors, we had a truly glorious afternoon celebrating and supporting a dear member of our community.
On 6/25, we gathered for a free benefit concert here at Ripple Retreat that brought together great musicians, donations from local businesses, and neighborhood families as we raised funds, love and support for Maryann Palmer.
On February 20th 2022, Maryann was the unfortunate victim of a devastating fire at her home in West Paris which destroyed the house, furnishings and all of its contents. Through the incredible response from you all, we were able to build a stage, put on a fantastic performance, offer an afternoon of good entertainment and collect over $1.8k in cash, complete tiny home worth of lumber, volunteers for the construction of a new tiny house, and the furnishings and appliances to fill her new home.
A HUGE THANK YOU to: HDC Roofing & Construction for building such a beautiful stage in very short notice, Milltown Roadshow and The Better Days Band for their amazing performances in the relentless heat, Andelena of West Paris Provisions for saving the day, the countless local businesses who contributed to this positive Ripple with a smile on their face and love in their hearts, and of course our local neighbors who joined us for the event.
Maryann, we are so proud of your strength in the face of such a great tragedy and want you to know we are here for you!
We invite each of you to share great moments, photos and memories of the event here to help commemorate the incredible showing of support for Maryann.
For those who couldn’t join us for the concert, we invite you to visit Maryann’s GoFundMe page and lend your support. https://gofund.me/64875ae1
